Charles Babbage

Charles Babbage was a greate mathematician at Cambridge university.
He developed two electromechanical calculators named Difference engine and analytical engine.Difference engine was developed in 1822 AD & analytical engine was developed in 1833 AD. They were very big achievement in the history of computers and calculators.not only these calculators,he developed the working principle of computer on which modern computers are based.so,he is known as "Father of Computer".
Difference engine & analytical engine contained all the parts equivalent to modern digital computers.They are:
1.the store(equivalent to memory)
2.the milli(equivalent to CPU)
3.input section using punched
4.output section using punched card
